The #MyMSVictory initiative and social media competition aims to raise awareness of the everyday accomplishments of people with MS and members of the Australian multiple sclerosis (MS) community.

 

It seeks to celebrate the ability and creativity of people with MS, their family, friends and carers.

 

The initiative was developed by Biogen Australia and is supported by the national peak body for people affected by multiple sclerosis – MS Australia. We are very pleased to announce that the ambassador and competition judge will be Australian comedian and media personality Tim Ferguson (of Doug Anthony All-Stars fame).

 

This competition hopes to shine a light on the Australian MS community’s achievements from large victories to small everyday successes. Many of these are being made possible in part by improvements in treatment options and the support offered to Australians affected by the disease.

What is the #MyMSVictory social media competition?

We want to give you a chance to win one of 13 prizes.

 

Throughout the month of July, show us your #MyMSVictory and enter to win in three easy steps:

 

 

  1. Record a video (15 seconds or less) which showcases your  #MyMSVictory.

 

  2. Share your video on Twitter OR Facebook

 

  3.  Make sure to tag @RealTimFerguson @MS_Australia @BiogenMS (on Twitter) or @MSAustralia @TimFerguson @Biogen (on Facebook) and you must use the hashtag #MyMSVictory to be eligible to win.

Prizes

Each week, three winners will be chosen by Aussie comedian and MS sufferer Tim Ferguson and will receive a signed copy of Tim’s book Carry a Big Stick: A Funny Fearless Life of Friendship, Laughter and MS.

 

At the end of the competition period all weekly winners will be eligible and entered into the Competition to win the Grand Prize.

 

One Grand Prize winner will be chosen to win a 38mm stainless steel Apple Watch.

 

The competition is open to Australian residents 18 years of age and above only. You can enter as many videos as you like during the competition open period.
